Mission
At the Center for Urban Excellence (CUE), we empower system-involved youth by fostering resilience and wellness through holistic educational, economic, social, and artistic opportunities. We believe in the potential of every youth and are dedicated to unlocking it, preparing them for success in a rapidly changing world.

Artistic and social emotional expression is central to our approach, enhancing creativity and social emotional intelligence. Our Fostering Resilience framework equips youth and their families with strategies to overcome adversity, while our youth leadership development program nurtures future community leaders. We also offer comprehensive college and career readiness programs and promote critical thinking through media literacy education.

Since 2016, we have supported over 560 individuals in Solano and Contra Costa Counties, plus the Greater Bay Area, helping them build self-confidence, improve academic performance, and develop a positive outlook on their futures. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive spaces where young minds can thrive and grow. Join us in shaping the leaders of tomorrow.

Since 2016, our vision is to create a world where every individual has the opportunity to achieve their full potential, regardless of their circumstances or background. We believe that every person has unique talents and strengths, and that with the right support and resources, they can overcome adversity and succeed in life.
