Community Voices Guiding Community Solutions
The Local Advisory Committee (LAC) is a diverse group of residents, community leaders, service providers, advocates, and individuals with lived experience who help guide the Center for Urban Excellence’s Public Health & Safety initiatives.
The LAC ensures that community voices remain at the center of program development, implementation, and evaluation. Through collaboration, transparency, and shared decision-making, committee members help identify community priorities and shape strategies that promote healing, safety, and opportunity for Vallejo residents.
