Community Engagement

The Center for Urban Excellence partners with schools, organizations, businesses, and community groups to connect residents with valuable programs and resources. Our Community Engagement team participates in health fairs, resource fairs, community events, workshops, and outreach activities by providing resource tables, program information, and referrals to services. We are committed to building strong community partnerships that increase awareness, access, and positive outcomes. If you’re interested in having CUE participate in your event, we’d love to hear from you.

Community Outreach Services
Our team is available to participate in a variety of community events, including:

• Resource fairs and health fairs
• School and youth events
• Community festivals and neighborhood events
• Workshops and educational events
• Career, workforce, and college readiness events
• Public health, wellness, and violence prevention initiatives

When attending an event, CUE may provide:

• An informational resource table
• Program materials and educational resources
• Staff available to answer questions and connect attendees to services
• Referrals to CUE programs and community partners

Requesting CUE at Your Event
To help us coordinate staffing and materials, please submit your request at least two (2) weeks before your event. Requests should include:

• Event name and organization
• Date, time, and location
• Event description and expected attendance
• Tabling or participation expectations
• A primary point of contact

Please note that participation is based on staff availability and alignment with CUE’s mission and capacity.
